The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working with machinery and performing daily maintenance and repairs.
Load and unload setups, breakdowns, and operating equipment, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Operate related equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required.
Follow written specifications.
Maintain accurate logs and monitor equipment to ensure it is producing the proper output.
Perform housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean workplace.
Uses personal protective equipment as required by the job, including but not limited to the wearing of safety vest, gloves, and eye protection.
Knowledge Skills / Abilities:
Basic knowledge of mechanical practices and ideas.
Experience/knowledge in a manufacturing setting and operating equipment is preferred.
Basic understanding of the Heat Treat process, 5S, safety and quality policies and procedures.
Ability to operate a computer.
Basic understanding of how to make a minor mechanical or quality adjustment while they are operating the equipment and the ability to locate resources to help with advanced issues.
